On December, 15th, KVS Foundation Day was celebrated in our school, Kendriya Vidyalaya Khammam

This remarkable event commenced with an account of achievements of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangatan by the speech from  our students.

This premier organization, administering 1090 schools with more than 10 lakhs students have come to be known as centre of excellence in the field of education and in promoting ‘indianness’ among the children.

It was followed by a melodious Kendriya Vidyalaya Geet on the principles of KVS. KVS provides education, in true sense to its students. Apart from academic excellence, it ensures personality development too.

The song was followed by a mind-blowing dances performence by the students of various houses. The dance really did bring out the feeling of patriotism and folk culture of India on us. Finally, it was time for the highlight of the event, an inspiring speech by our Principal. It made us realize the value of education and made us feel proud to be a KVian. It was a memorable event for all of us.

The programme ended with the teachers taking an oath to serve the organization with sincerity and integrity.
